Unfortunately I was never able to visit the Farmhouse inn because the staff and management did not honor the original price I was given. I spoke with Kate at the front desk who advised me she was new. She gave me an incredible deal that I booked right away. I started making plans for the honeymoon with my Husband and I. Two days later Serenity Farmhouse contacted me claiming the pricing was wrong and that the price now had almost been tripled. I was devastated. I had no idea what prompted the change but as a black woman i can only suspect. As of today (10/09/18) I haven't received a refund for the original booking and cannot book a new place without the extra money. Serenity Farmhouse Inn is ruining my honeymoon experience.
I had a very pleasant and comfortable two night stay in one of the cottages. Probably the best feature is the simple and laid back setting. It is clear the the setting is intended to be a retreat away from the hustle of everyday life. The breakfast provided is excellent and very tasty. Go to this place if you really want to just relax with someone you really care about together.
The location is amazing. It is quite and peaceful. The rooms are super. They are clean, and cute! Staff is friendly and professional. They are very helpful.
We love this place so much. We went three years ago and next stayed at Gabriella's hut. This time we stayed at Rocky Creek Cottage. Both times have been exceptional. Location is peaceful and quiet. Scenery is beautiful. Only about 10 minutes from the wonderful town of Wimberly. Breakfast was delicious. My wife and I will definitely make a trip back here in the future
I brought my mother here for a mother-daughter get away. We are staying in the Rocky Creek Retreat- WOW! The quietness is amazing- the lodge is perfect and quaint- the private hot tub and 2 decks are so nice to sit and spend quality time with. I love the fact they have rescue animals on the property. The breakfast they serve is DELICIOUS and simple. If you ever have the opportunity to come here DO IT. I'm already planning our next get away here in a few months with all the women in my family. If you are looking for a wedding venue with that organic feel- this would be ideal. I could go on and on about how incredible this place is but you really should experience it for yourself. (Side note- the staff is busy- they are very helpful but they have a job to do so just know they are awesome- but busy)
