The packages they offer are nice. My wife loved the romance package with flowers, snacks, chocolates, and "sparkling wine" (She's not a wine drinker, but the experience was worth the investment).
No central air, but quiet and unobtrusive. Lots of amenities, such as cups, microwave, full size fridge.
The rooms bend around an enclosed courtyard, which is nice for grilling, hanging out, and the enclosed pool and hot tub are great for a refreshing dip or lounging.
The hotel was so nice... But the ac unit was running noisily all night, no matter what we tried to make it take a break. The rooms are so nice and the pool was so refreshing, though, so I hate to ding this place at all even if the ac was annoying.

I loved staying here! The room was very clean, organized, and had nice amenities. The hotel was also peaceful and quiet. Plus it is close to the town square which has a bunch of shopping and places to eat. I will definitely be staying here again in the future!!!
The rooms are nicely furnished, spacious and clean. The courtyard is well kept and the pool and spa area is clean. Parking is a bit on the short side. The walls could use better noise insulation as we could hear the couple in the next room and they were not shouting. There were remote controls provided for television, ceiling fan, LED mood lighting and thermostat, however the thermostat and LED lighting remotes did not work. The breakfast is accommodated by a voucher to a very nice bakery a short walk away.
Took an anniversary trip to a place we never heard of in order to drive out to a state park during the day. As it turns out, there was no need to venture very far, for Wimberley has a lot to offer. The hotel itself was nicer than we hoped for. Large, comfortable beds, quiet location, and in walking distance to a lot of neat shops around town.
