It is an awesome store with friendly & knowledgeable people and a great selection of supplies & tools for the diy'er. I usually shop here first even if I know I will be in one of the big towns with the big box stores.
Good hardware store with a wide selection of items which rival the big box stores.
This place is fine for getting what you need but some people that work there are nice and some are complete assholes. So let me explain. This one old man that works there just acts rude to me 24/7 and gives me dirty looks. (I have done nothing but bought stuff) and this one other lady or "girl" just acts rude to me as well.. and some others. Soo if you just want to go in and out quick and get what you need then it's a good place other wise some people are rude to you for no reason.
Plus.. it's your only choice for Wimberley and the surrounding area :-)
Wimberley Ace Hardware refused to do anything about this behavior towards me.
Two days later Wimberley Ace Hardware called. They wanted me to come in and talk. I informed them again, I pulled my account 2 days ago and told the employee at the counter why, and I was never coming back. There is no reason for me to come in. Wimberley Ace Hardware had plenty of time to correct this behavior towards me.
I told the employee at the counter while I was closing my account. I was never coming back. There are two e-mails explaining why I'm never coming back.
So why would Wimberley Ace Hardware place a criminal trespass report on me?
The management assured me this would not happen again. And to use another line to checkout until they solve this issue.
A Wimberley Ace Hardware employee refused to check me out on 3 occasions (3 different days). I reported this behavior 3 times to the management.
They carried what I needed (survey stakes) and were really friendly for me walking in as they were turning on the open light.
So I closed my account after 30 + years of being a loyal Wimberley Ace Hardware customer. And told them, I’m never coming back to this store.
This has negatively marked my reputation unjustly. Folks writing reviews about, Wimberley Ace Hardware. Need to know what could happen in retaliation. If you complain about a Wimberley Ace Hardware employee or management's behavior. On their rate and review site.
Within 2 hours after the phone call ended, the police showed up at my home. Wimberley Ace Hardware placed a. Hays County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Trespass Report on me.

I never Trespassed, I never used any foul language, I never threaten anyone, I never gave anyone a dirty look, Etc… I pulled my account 2 days prior and told them over the phone I was never coming back.
